got up at 8.30... test started at 9.30.. it had two parts... one part set by mr.gaurg and the other part by sonia mam... I dont want to comment about the sets here.. but I am sure that I will pass.. thats enough for me.. actually I dint find enough time to finish all the questions.. I left two three mark questions in each set :(( .. since this test doesnt have much priority.. I just dont want to talk about it anymore.. we finished the test by 12.. and started roaming here and there...

afternoon.. I had a chat with arina.. she was my college mate.. and good friend of mine.. she enjoys commenting me.. when she was in college, she never took anything so serious..as far as I remember she was angry at me only during the hostel day celebrations in the second year.. now her life is changed..I wish her problems get solved as quick as possible..

Chamath,Nikhil and suma(chat friend) commented about my blog.. ofcourse in a positive way..

evening.. I went to Omang to play squash.. but couldnt play as one of the bats is broken.. and we(devendar and i) preferred not to play rather than to borrow the bat..
finally we went to volleyball court.. and played under floodlights.. i am playing after a gap of three years.. after college life.. I dint touch volleyball... and now my hands say "idiot.. take some pain killers and relieve us from pain".. :)).. when I was playing I remembered how I used to play at PEC where I was like a kid before avinash,arul,pavan..

After dinner.. Isaac and I went to admission block to see the induction schedule.. but the doors were locked.. :((...

I need to talk something about the title of this post.. when I searched for my blog in the afternoon with tag "praveen+ruffian" it was at bottom half of the fourth page.. and now when I searched it is at top half on the same page :))).. i think my blog rank is increasing hour by hour.. hehehee.. thanks to those who are all viewing my blog...

got up at 9... finally I touched the '9' mark.. if himanshu dint call me.. i might have got up around 12.. thats for sure.. i was just thinking about one thing.. how to pass tom's test.. ofcourse its not an important one.. yet.. :)) .. morning.. I read for one hour.. but nothing went in to my brain..
afternoon.. I had stomach full of lunch.. i think no one in this world will start reading after having a lunch like that.. but I started.. and my eyes were closing.. himanshu and I thought of reading atleast for one hour.. himanshu slept with in half an hour.. and my eyes started to listen the "sleeping god's" words.. as soon as himanshu left my room.. I started sleeping..
evening I felt very hard to getup.. somehow managed.. had snacks.. then the real day started..first time in my life I played squash.. I used to play a similar kind of game at pondicherry when i was doing my B.tech.. now the real squash.. I played against giridhar.. and I was leading at 8-3.. but I was tired by that time.. and giridhar won the match 9-8.. anyways.. now my aim is to win tom's match at any cost.. I bribed him .. heheh.. i was tired when I returned to room.. then I realised I need to read for the tom's test..
After dinner.. I started reading.. i read continuously for 3 hrs.. and its been after a gap of three months.. I felt very hard reading.. but I need to...
today brazil won the match against ivorycost with ease.. hence today's post is dedicated to brazilllllllll...

Got up at 8.40.. today is the last day of preparatory classes.. could be a possible reason for feeling too lazy and hence the wakeup time stretched a bit further :)) ...
the best thing was that both the classes were completed before time.. and mam/sir discussed about the question paper pattern..there were so many funny questions raised by my friends such as -- " is team work allowed ??? is there any possibility of more than one correct answer in mutiple choice questions.. ??? disclose atleast one question which carries five marks.. ???" .. what i understood was the intial half of the question paper may be tough and the later half may be easier.. and so many frnds were asking mam.. "what if we fail in the test ??".. there was no concrete answer.. but sir told that the failed students may be forced to sit in tutorial classes... :)) .. i am a little tensed now.. what if we fail again in the tutorial classes.. no one raised this question... and now i am afraid to hear the answer.. :(( .. classes ended by 12.30...half an hour earlier than the alloted time..

I went to xerox shop for more than three times to get SIM.. and finally in the evening I got docomo sim.. and its working fine with my mobile.. but the only thing I dint like is .. my number starting with "7".. though my SIM is activated, I couldnt recharge my mobile till 10 PM.. then.. sandesh helped me.. finally I have some balance left in the SIM..

evening.. I played TT.. and then himanshu and I went for a jog.. I couldnt even jag for 2 mins.. :(( ..

After dinner I went to himanshu's room..

Vijay, my colleague at HSBC glt, got selected in CPF... hearty congratulations to him. and Aravind, my guru at HSBC GLT, had a view of my whole blog.. he asked about girls here.. but I cannot comment right now.. :))).. I need to tell few things about him.. he is a kind of guy who never takes things seriously.. damn intelligent.. but equally lazy.. sometimes crazy about girls.. and he doesnt miss a single pic from www.idlebrain.com .. and if he finds some pic very interesting..he used to show that to me.. to be frank.. half the pics he showed me were crap !!!..

Finally "the bank loan" process started....

got up at 8.20.. I dint feel like going to class at all.. but I had no other go rather than attend the classes.. I think my attendance percentage is at border.. as I took two unavoidable leaves on 2nd and 3rd day... anyways.. I cant help it.. classes asusual.. interesting in first half an hour.. then the feeling of drowsiness interests me... finally the test date is decided.. its on 21st.. wish me all the best plzzz.. I need that... :) ... when probability class was going on.. I was wondering how I could solve the same questions when I was in +2... now.. every question is a bouncer.. ofcourse few are simple..

afternoon I went with sreejith to buy IIM L t-shirts with "BATCH OF 2012" printed on the back of them... I need to buy for ISAAC too.. as I dont have enough money with me.. postponed it for tom.. I thought of going to ATM by evening.. but as it is.. in the hands of laziness I am lost.. :)...

I went to bank..came to know about the procedure.. I have been planning to go to bank since monday.. and so according to me.. today is monday.. :))..

evening.. I played badminton.. after a gap of one year I am playing here.. I used to play at HSBC GLT at the start of my career... those days I used to wait for the clock to tik '6'.. and thats it.. I would be there in the court with my other batchmates(venky,jasper) there.. play till 8 and then go home.. At home my mom and dad think that I was working pretty hard.. sweating under AC.. :))...

today at fifa.. korea just gave up... ofcourse credit goes to argentina..

got up at 8... the classes were a bit interesting... but the feeling of drowsiness was increasing at exponential rate... class on matrices was interesting as I could solve few of the questions at a quick pace... I gave sreejith a gift -- book .. he gave me a new book in the first class.. so I gave him back a new book.. just a token of friendship... and today I thought i could finish off the bank work after classes.. but my laziness stopped me doing so.. I slept..

For the first time I went to the mess in the evening for snacks..
then started my real day.. went to OMANG for the first time.. I was the only guy who went there with a formal shirt... I played TT for some time.. I am not that good at TT.. so dint enjoy much..but it made me remember my old days playing TT with vijay and keerthi at HSBC Glt..unforgettable days...

then back to hostel.. had a chat with my freinds - sandesh, murali... sandesh gave me "an all the best" note along with the shirt.. I came to know abt the note today...and thanks a lot sandesh...

I went to CC, LIBRARY with ISAAC.. library was very good.. then had some chat with isaac on all the silly things in campus.. :) ..

Normal Day..

As it is .. I got up at 8.. I was getting ready .. mess person knocked the door with breakfast in his hands... i thought of going to mess today.. but mess ppl are too good.. :)... So had breakfast in the room.. I went to class around 9.20.. I was wearing the shirt given as a gift by sandesh and murali.. it was good.. I found the first class very interesting.. I was concentrating too much.. may be the reason that made me face bouncers in second class... I couldnt understand.. I couldnt concentrate.. but it was an easy topic.. after watching the wall clock more than once per second through out the class ... it showed 1 PM ... and sir said bye to us..
After a gap of 3 days.. I went to mess... met few of my frnds... i planned to go to city.. but postponed for tom as per Sai's request :) ... by the way.. Sai is my new friend..
afternoon... I finally did half of the "home"work...slept.. got up at 8...

now i am finishing off the "home"work..

I am waiting for the italy's first match in this worldcup..

ONLY FIFA .....

AT 9 in the morning.. when i was sleeping I got a call from Himanshu.. asking me if I want breakfast.. I said noooooooooo... then Vijay called me.. I said No.. but somehow he dint hear it properly itseems.. and at 9.30 someone knocked my door.. I opened and found the mess guy with plate in his hand.. all of sudden my stomach started feeling hungry.. I took the food.. then started browsing.. it was all about FIFA.. meanwhile had a chat with lokesh and SIS on gtalk..

I spent most of the time in my room.. the reason is same..swelling in my right eye..
afternoon I slept.. but the temperature is too high.. I couldnt sleep.. got up twice..

I went to saurabh's room.. we had loads of fun.. saurabh has one punch dialogue in his armour..what ever he sees .. he says one thing.. "praveen.. this is very important.. and this is the maincourse of our MBA"... for example.. I was looking at the preparatory course syllabus.. I dint have a copy of that.. he told "praveen you dont have it na.. that is the most important thing to finish MBA course..".. but both of us know.. its not of any use after 20th of this month..

after a gap of three days I went out.. that might be reason of thunders in the sky.. yes.. all of sudden climate changed around 10.30PM with heavy winds full of dust...

My cousin project is finally finished.. he is on cloud#9..

and now I am at FIFA site.. viewing live commentary...and germany 2-0 against australia at 31st minute.. and kudos to ghana ..

i thought of finishing off the "home"work.. but my notebook is with himanshu.. and more important thing is that I dont have any interest to do it..

BACK TO business

Got up at 8... Finally I decided to go to the college.. So first I went to the mess.. I felt very difficult eating with one eye closed.. I dont know where is the exact position of the spoon .. I searched for the spoon using my mouth :) .. I just ate corn flakes..and reached class by 9.20 ...
I felt boring by 9.25.. and more over the class is about vectors.. I dont remember much about vectors.. and the most funniest thing is that.. whle taking attendance MAM forgot to call my name.. She might have decided that I would never turn up.. hehehee.. during the class I was hiding.. as MAM was calling few of my friends to solve pblms on board.. I literally dont know anything about today's topic.. and more over through out the class I was using my kerchief to cover my right eye.. my hand was paining.. and I am checking the time for every one minute.. finally the short hand of the clock at 11.. and MAM left us.. the next class was on calculus.. I remember a little bit about calculus but i was squeezing the wound on my right eye .. pretty busy indeed :) ...

I had my lunch in my room.. thanks to my frnds..

I tried to sleep from 4... but no use.. today temp is too hot.. at 7.30 I could still see the last rays of the sun.. I was sweating..

After a gap of two days... I spoke with my cousin.. his team won the first match in the FIFA..I feel he is in excited state.. though he has plenty of work.. he spent some time chatting with me.. so he must be in excited state..

I decided to go out .. and went to temple.. though it is very near.. the most important thing is .. my eye is not giving me pain anymore..

@muni.. at present my scanner is under repair.. so dint do much scanning stuff for this week.. but will definetely do that and update you..

Thanks a lot to my friends.. they deserve more than thanks.. finally the medicine reached me.. and i am relieved of pain though the swelling is left as it is...
I thought of going to class today but my friends gave me gyan and told me to go back to hostel... Also I was little hesitant to go to class today.. hence I took their words granted and came back to the hostel.. Most of the time on bed.. no work.. nothing.. took enough rest..

The most important thing is that.. I ate rice after a gap of 36 hours.. it was so tasty.. and nothing could beat it.. and once again thanks to himanshu and saurabh for informing the mess workers about my position and mess workers are kind enough to deliver the food to my room.. thanks to the mess ppl too...

evening I got another set of antibiotics..

all my dreams are in halt.. i am missing all the fun... :((

I spent most of the time in my room.. so no updates...

Half Blind...

I got up at 3.30 in the midnite.. as I felt somekind of itching sensation at my right eye.. and saw my face in the mirror.. I was shocked to see my right eye.. as 75% of the eye is covered undered the swollen eyelid.. came to bed with all disappointment.. and dint get sleep then after.. I decided not to go to class in such a bad shape.. and more importantly.. I dont want to give anymore stress to it..
I decided to stay back at room and sleep as much time as possible..

Meanwhile DAD is a bit worried abt this eye issue.. he called me so many times.. and moreover got the list of medicines from my aunt who is a doctor.. meanwhile I went to hospital.. doctor is a bit surprised seeing my eye.. he has subscribed me some antibiotics.. and the most toughest thing is going to pharmacy..as college is around 12kms from city.. and today mr.sun was showing his true colours.. so couldnt afford to go to pharmacy.. waited for someone going to the city.. but the answer for the wait is "no one"... to be frank.. himanshu and saurabh tried their best to help me..
finally gunjan went to city and now I am waiting for him...

My childhood friend saw my all the best in previous post and conveyed me the thanks.. so sweeeet..

Finally.. an important thing.. its about my cousin.. tomorrow is his birthday..
I wish him many many many many manyyyyyyyyyyy more happy returns of the day..
It was him with whom I shared my feelings about the preparation for higher studies for the first time.. and it was him with whom I prepared for my IIM interviews.. he is more than a cousin to me.. :) ..once again I wish him many more returns of the day..may his wishes come true at a quick pace :) ...

Just a normal day...

got up around 7.. went to class by 9..our reporting time was 9.15... and classes by 9.30..
surprisingly no reporting stuff by 9.15.. as all of us signed on the reporting sheet yesterday.. first day started with sets in first session and calculus in second session... I sat by the side of sreejith.. classroom was good.. used to see those kind of rooms in movies.. first time.. I am sitting in that type of rooms..thanks to IIM L... today is all abt basic mathematics.. so nothing much.. we are given enough homework :)) ... still dint finish..

I have some pimple kind of stuff on my eyelid.. its killing me.. its growing in size day by day and covering my eye.. as of now.. my eye is bulged... dont know what to do.....I am afraid.. what may happen to my eye...i am afraid to see my face in the mirror... i couldnt resist that.. :(((..and because of this i am staying at my room.. as the heat outside is like a catalyst to the pimple.. so dont want to give any chance to it..

yest I got the info that one of my frnds bharath, passed out from IISC, was readign digital design book for time pass... i never read that book completely even though it was there in b.tech syllabus...

as I mentioned earlier.. the problem with my eye is making me not to write more abt today... :( ...

CAMPUS IS TOOOOOOOOOOO LONG

Got up very late... 9.30... hehe.. my friends would be shocked seeing this statement.. I usually getup in the afternoons... I am very tired.. hence keeping this post very short...

after a long gap.. I had a chat with one of my best frnds.. chamath.. he is from srilanka.. we share so many things in college.. especially copyin in the internal exams.. we used to prepare a lot in preparing the bits... so much fun... even though we go with answers.. my internal scores are always at the ground.. and I remember one more thing.. on a fine day.. he was the first one who wished me all the best during campus interviews and got placed on that day... this incident just stick in my mind..

I went to pgp office to know abt the classes and sections..i went with himanshu... and while coming out of office.. got a new friend..saurabh.. I met him during kozhikode interview.. as soon as I saw him.. some where in my mind .. My memories were telling me.. I met him.. but couldnt get where I met him.. finally spoke with him.. and came to know .. that we met during "k" interview.. and the good thing is .. we all became good friends.. afternoon took some rest.. and in evening we had a glance at the whole campus.. had some fun topics in between.. we planned to watch a movie tom..

my SIS thought me a new word.. I never heard of it.. brunch.. which means breakfast + lunch.. first i thought it was typo.. then she enlightened it.. and I was shocked.. I suggested a new word for her too.. fash = face + wash..

my cousin should be awarded the best hardworking guy on this world.. god should give him more than 24 hrs per day... I pray god to finish off his works as early as possible..

today is my friend murali's bday.. I wish him happy bday.. guys who are reading this.. wish him happy bday.. may all his wishes come true...

My first post at IIM L...

i am very very very excited as of now... still cant believe this.. need to write a lot about this day... two phases of my day...

my plane is at 10.. my father started knocking my door rite from 6.. i slept around 2 yesterday.. I hate getting up early in the morning.. and sound of my dad knocking the door is at a frequency of 5 to 6 knocks per minute... with all frustration in my stomach.. i got up and went out of my room with a smiling face.. finished packin my luggage.. and I found that my luggage weighs more than 20 kgs.. till now I travelled only once in plane...so dont know how to goahead with excess baggage.. anyways.. all set to go the airport.. meanwhile my friends sandesh and murali started to airport... actually I was wearing sandesh's shirt.. a kind of sentiment.. how ever the shirt looks.. I decided to wear it.. (but shirt is very good)... my uncles also joined the party.. but they came too late...by that time.. I got into the airport..
regarding excess baggage.. I paid 800...

i had the taste of lucknow when I was coming out of airport.. a guy (dressed formally).. shouted at me just as my cabbin baggage touched him.. I was somewhere when he was shouting at me.. suddenly i realised as ppl around me were looking at me...and understood that that guy infront of me was shouting at me only...
but.. I dont want to carry away with this incident... and more over my uncle (just now in chat) told me that ppl at lucknow are verygood.. took a taxi (ac... dont know why opted this one)... and finally at IIM L.. the excitement grewup as i was entering the campus... and when I took out the chit to know my room remember...I was pryaing god. plz let me get a good room.. but I think every room is a good one.. :)) ..

got some new friends... sagar,madhan,himanshu,prudhvi,raju etc etc... wanted to write abt a gal..but not now.. and.. a senior.. should write abt him..ashish.. helped me installing the cisco.. and lan settings..etc etc.. and gave me a lan wire too.. sooo good.. :)) ...

I forgot to mention abt two persons..I may write very often abt them...my childhoood friend and my colleague(my guru) aravind... yesterday nite.. my childhood frnd was the last to wish me.. I dont want to disclose her name as some pry eyes may think abt her badly.. and my good friend at HSBC... vijay was the first person to call me today and wished me happy journey...

forgot to mention one more thing.. sandesh presented me a shirt.. it was good.. thank you sandesh...
