Jokes apart, Its not only me but also there are so many people who heard that sound. I also came to know that people came out of the hostels thinking something really bad was gonna happen. But, its good that nothing has happened.
Classes are going real fast and we had two quizzes in the past two days. There are extra classes lined up for tom and day after. Keeping all these constraints, I think i cannot attend srilu's marriage at any cost. I just cancelled all the tickets and I am gonna miss rajadhani journey :(. So, one item in my wishlist is not gonna get fulfilled. I have just formulated a linear programming model for srilu's marriage. I have framed the problem in such a way that, if the answer is 1, I will attend the marriage else I will not. I tried to solve the problem and I got "0" as the solution. So, as per the solution, I should not attend srilu's marriage :(. Thats too bad right ?? Only thing I can say is "Sorry, srilu !!!".
Wondering what the hell is all this ?. Yesterday we had a quiz on linear programming :). Now, I think it makes sense.
Yesterday we had a workshop on ethics. The class was damn interesting. I really liked the ethics class for first time. It was a group task. We were given an egg, real one. Also, we were given a list of items to purchase. We need to use those items and create a protective layer around the egg such that if we drop the egg from certain height, it should not break. We have constructed the layer around the egg using stress, strain etc etc.Our team used all the civil engineering principles and finally created some thing as displayed in the pic. You can notice how we used straws and cello tape, and created a layer around the egg.

When Gopal, one of our team member, dropped the egg, it was broken !!!. A big disappointment in his face. Sometimes it happens !!!. But I really enjoyed this class. The basic essence of the class was on how to reach the goal of the company leaving aside the individual profits.
The funnies part in this class was the way the egg was broken when nishtha's group dropped it. Actually all the groups used a transparent polythene cover as the first protective layer so that even if the egg breaks, the liquid inside the egg will not come out. But when nistha's group dropped it, not only the egg was broken but also the white liquid(albumen) came out of the cover. I could not control my laugh seeing that incident. We were not suppose to break the egg, but instead they dint even cover the egg properly with the polythene cover. Sometimes it happens !!!! hahahaha
