The start of the Last Chapter...

Its been 4 months since I scribbled something on my blog. What could be the reason ??? To be frank... there is no reason as such. Am I lazy ? Am I ignorant? That is not the case. I see my blog daily and feel like posting many things here. But something/someone really stopped me doing so.

Finally the term has come to an end and thus an end to my college life. Am I going to miss something here? I dont think so. When compared to my college life at PEC, the life at L is nothing. Though I came here with so many expectations, I couldn't enjoy most of the time. Ofcourse the people are different and their thinking is different. I am yet to get my degree and so I prefer not to comment on this at this moment.

What did I do in these four months?
The answer is "something" that I couldnt achieve for the first four terms.
What ever I earned in the first four terms looked small when compared to the achievements that I earned in the fifth and sixth term.

Why is it so special?
It made my CV look good.

Are the CV points ultimate?
I dont think so. "Personal Satisfaction" is the ultimate measure of an achievement and I truly felt happy looking at my Marks sheet at the end of term 5.

I am leaving campus today for a 20 days break and this is the first time I am gonna get such a long break and ofcourse it is not of any use.

I will continue writing my posts in the old style and not exactly the way this boring post has come.

This blog will remain active till Mar 18th.

From Quizzes to Assignments....

In the first term, we used to have atleast 8 - 10 quizzes in the whole term. Which means 4-5 quizzes pre-mid term and 4-5 post mid term. So, right from 3rd week onwards we had some quiz. This means we were studying for quizzes from 3rd week and goes on till 5th week. After 5th week, we had mid-term exams, resulting in a 3 continuous weeks of love with books. Of all the quizzes, I used to write one quiz properly and that too it must be an easy paper. I never used to concentrate on quizzes.

In fifth term, till now I have written only one quiz. From next week onwards our mid-terms are starting. Effectively the quizzes count drastically reduced by 80%. Then how these marks are compensated? We are now given enough assignments to compensate the quizzes. Its a tradition that is being followed and not new for our batch. Why is such a tradition required? Because of simple reason - we have become lazy. :) . Yeah, people dont want to open books now. In my case, almost 4 weeks are over and I am yet to open a text book. I read only one subject till now just because I am afraid of that prof and I accept that I am afraid.

What is the advantage of assignments? Most of the times, assignments are group tasks. So what?
Group tasks are just for name sake because group tasks are done by an individual in the group, the so called hard worker. One thing that I can see clearly these days is that the count of free riders have drastically increased. I am no exception. Last term I almost shifted my room to computer center. I spent most of the time in CC studying. This term, I hardly went there. Now, the winter has just started and people dont even prefer to come out and with the laziness I have, I think I dont even go to classes !!!!

Coming back to assignments - disadvantages and advantages. One disadvantage with assignment is that the range of marks doesnt differ. The difference between maximum and minimum could be at max 2 or 3 marks. But in case of quizzes, the difference is the maximum marks for which the quiz has been conducted. Ultimately, this thinking results in decrease of the motivation factor to work for assignments because people start thinking that they can put the same efforts in preparing for midterm and endterm exams for which they could get the highest marks. Great thinking. I hope I dont go with empty brain for midterm exams thinking that I could put in efforts for end term exams...Its all my perception....

Maybe I was wrong...

This post is about the class room updates.

In previous posts, I made a bigger announcements stating that "The most Leisure Term". I think I was totally wrong.

This is the term wherein the submission started as early as at the start of second week. Its something very rare. Normally profs give some time for students to start working. Also, in today's lecture one of the profs insisted for weekly submissions. That is something terrible to hear !!!

I mentioned about a prof in my previous posts stating that he got irritated since we laughed in the class. In the same class he mentioned that he knew about our profile. I dint take those words seriously. But he mailed to one of my group-mate quoting that "he should personally take care of involving me and two others in this project and should contribute to the project. Also, he mentioned our names in the mail with internship details". I was shocked when my friend, to whom prof has mailed the details about us, has forwarded the same mail to us. Its sad that prof has taken the things too personally. I am worried on how to rebuild the trust.

This time, in team building class, we had an exercise on "introduction to teams". It was a scenario case. The scenario was that a set of people with certain background were stuck in a cave and who has to be rescued first and in what order need to be sorted out by our team. It was a funny exercise wherein we were all arguing with each other with a variety of inputs on giving priorities. Ofcourse, I have seen a guy in our group is arguing just for the sake of arguing. Also, we had one girl in our group who is from Italy(Dont know exactly the place). The total team was in dilemma when we were to choose between a lady with two children and a guy who is potential enough to develop a cheap drug for cancer patients. It was like whether to go with present scenario or need to think about future. One thing is that there is no correct answer. It depends on individuals. Whom do you chose?

Apart from these, I have seen few ads about Gujarat Tourism. It was awesome given the fact that the videos contain Amitabh and also shot in multiple languages. Its a good strategy to attract both Indians and Foreigners. Good Learning. Here are the links -

Have a look at it. The video clarity is good and also the theme.

Party Time !!!

This week I went out to city twice just for the sake of food. That doesnt mean that I am not being served food here. Its just that we are bored of eating the same food daily.

First, it was index party. This year again I am part of index team. Everything, except the fact that I am in second year, is same. I mean to say the work I did and the work I am doing hasn't changed much. Its the same photoshop work that I hate. At times, I feel that I am cursed and at times, its a differentiating factor. Anyways, I cant change anything at present.

Coming back to party, it was a good one. Though the food was not good, I enjoyed the time, that our team, spent there. It was fun. Ofcourse, it was first time I was interacting with the whole team given the fact that the team was formed long ago. I dont know the names of any of the first years. So, initially it took sometime to break the ice and as of now it is partially broken. :). One thing I understood was that they are very curious to know about the placements. All I could tell them is not to worry. But it is very difficult to control our nerves during placements, including me. But everyone knows that he/she is gonna place in some company but what is that "some" is a question mark.

Here are few pics..

Scream 5 ???

Juniors

Second time, it was sai, gopi and me who went to city. This time it was Dastarkhwan. After a gap of almost 6 months, I went to the city by bus. Nothing new and its the same old roads with lot of dust. Wherever the bus stops, I can see a kg of dust falling back in to the bus and slowly getting distributed onto the passengers. You would be lucky if you were sleeping with your mouth open. Before people get any kind of doubts, let me clarify one thing - I dint sleep during that journey.

Thanks to Gopi for paying the bill and thanks to Sai for paying the bill at sports shop for my wrist band. I bough a wrist band to play TT with out any interruption caused by excessive sweating (Assumed to be). But after purchasing the wrist band, I havent played TT.

Again, tomorrow we are going to City.

Classes.. Term 5

Finally I can feel some seriousness in attending the classes. The classes are a bit interesting.

In team building class, there was an activity. It was about understanding ourselves. There were certain attributes given and we are suppose to rank them. After ranking them, we will come to know about the scores for different personality types - tiger, eagle, turtle, solmon, Chameleon.
Each animal is defined with certain aspects. For tiger - brave, leadership but doesnt listen to anyone. For Chameleon - works on situation but doesnt posses leadership. For eagle - long vision - but doesnt care about notifying the team. For Turtle - slow and steady - analyzes the situation. For Solmon - rebel. Based on the graph, mam used to explain how a person's character will be and how he responds to a situation. One thing I understood was that people should be very high on eagle but should be low on Solmon. Interestingly, my graph was quite opposite to that of normal. I am rebel as per that activity. I think I should start thinking that way!!!!

In marketing class, I have heard something very contradictory. In early days were soaps were aired, one serial was blockbuster. The main element of the serial was extramarital affair. That concept cannot be used for marketing a product but a company used it in a different way. I dont want to write much about that. But it is something different and unheard of.
Also, when washing machines were first introduced in India it was a big success in Punjab. When company went to see and understand why that product was successful. They were shocked. The washing machine was used in Dhabas for preparing lassi. It was funny. The way people think about certain things that the manufacturing company never heard of.

In today's class, prof was giving an example of "wheel" advertisement. The husband throws the shirt on his wife's face and then wife uses wheel to clean it. Finally the husband gets the promotion. While explaining that ad, professor, in a funny note said this "throwing a shirt on wife's face never happens in India. It is just exaggerated. A typical husband knows what happens when he throws a shirt on his wife's face". "Generally these kind of ads start with a message like - "Attention viewers. This ad is performed by experienced people under a protected environment and viewers should not imitate at home". The whole class started clapping. I think thats true.

For first time, I was caught in the hands of Prof for laughing in the class. Prof was so irritated and was angry. I was lucky to answer the question that he has asked me else it would be have been a disaster. The class was damn boring and so we started cracking jokes. I dint realize that he was observing me and all of sudden he asked me a question. After the class, our project group was asking prof some kind of doubts. We were suppose to implement some crazy ideas and I was laughing listening to those crazy ideas. Prof saw me for the second time and then....

Funny.. May not be... Part 2

Sitcoms... Contd...

By the time the term 4 was finishing, we had so many guest lectures. In a guest lecture, the faculty was teaching us about some topic that was not in syllabus and he wanted us to be interactive. But half the class was not interested as they were tired. (The class started at 7 PM). Prof saw a person sleeping and dint call him wake him up directly. He asked a question to the student next to that guy who was sleeping and gave this statement - "You speak; He wake". Thats it the whole class started clapping and disturbed his sleep.

In strategy class, Mam was asking questions to selected people and especially to those who sit in the last bench. It was a kind of tricky question. First person answered it to some extent and next person added a bit to it. But one student gave a very smart answer - "Mam, whatever he told was correct". Mam started laughing and told us that during exams write the answers this way -"Whatever the person, sitting by the side of me, has written is correct"

----------------------

Apart from these sitcoms, I have seen few examples of selfishness in movies/serials/books but for the first time I have come across a guy with such a character. He is too selfish to give chance to his own team members and I hate those kind of people. May be selfishness is required but a selfishness of such an intensity leads to destruction. Luckily, I am not part of his time till now.

-----------------------

These days I am confining myself writing small posts. I got feedback from srilu quoting that my blogs are too long and sometimes too boring. I cant deal with the boring part but at the same time I can deal with the "lengthy part" and as a result you can see "the conitnuation parts" for the same post.

Another ad ...

We have a subject for which we are suppose to create an ad for a product that we choose. We need to apply all the concepts that we have learnt in the subject for that ad. It was funny.

Here is the link to that ad.. Can you guess what that ad is about ??

There are few concepts like - humor appeal - emotional appeal - high/low involvement to know about the product..

Since we have selected a product that falls under service sector, it would not be the similar way that we create an ad for a normal product like soap/jam etc. For a service industry (like banking), the ad should indicate both the information about the product - loans, and an emotional appeal to attract the customers. Especially in banking industry its about trust on the bank that works (most of the times). Its just some kind of information for those we are interested in marketing :).

I was shocked to see the number of views(550) for my college video - eternals@pec. Till now, it has the maximum views of all the videos that I have created.

End of a tiresome term...

Its been a while since I have written a post. The title of the post says everything. It was one of the hectic terms just equal to that of term 2. I have mentioned the same in couple of previous posts about how hectic the term was.

The last two weeks of term 4 was the worst. It was the first time we were doing seven projects in a term and we are suppose to give presentation and prepare project report for all those subjects.

One of the most embarrassing situation in the term was that the prof was laughing after looking at our slides, when we were presenting our project to the class. We prepared the slides on the previous day. The biggest flaw was our recommendations. We have given very hifi recommendations for a government hospital. I dont know where to keep my head because it was me who suggested the project to my group. I felt very bad on that day.

There were days in which we gave 2 to 3 presentations on the same day on different subjects. There were some differences among the members of the team. A perfect platform to what we are going to face in the near future.

Coming to end-term exams, few of them are open book. Those exams that were based on open book doesn't require a text book at all. If profs declare a subject as open book, it is implied that we are not gonna get any question directly from text book. We need to workout and fit in all that we have learnt on a piece of paper and that is really a tough task when compared to that of a closed book exam.

In one of the exams, the question paper was very different. We are suppose to assume everything and write the answer. When mam told "assume those that are missing and answer the question", whole class started laughing. That was because we need to assume so many things that we never thought off. It was as if we are writing something very new about a product.

One thing that I have realized is that those topics that I leave (I just left one slide in one subject) will definitely appear in the question paper and it happened for two exams. Anyways, its over and I cant change anything (Suggestion given by my close friend @ hell).

Thats it for now...

So, one of my friends is Pappu ? (Ads)

In one of the class, prof showed us an example on how cadbury used the theme "pappu pass hogaya!!". In that example, prof has shown the screen-shots of sms on mobile. A student enters the roll number and presses the "get result" button. He gets the results along with the message "pappu pass hogaya and time for treat - kuch meeta ho jaye cadbury".(This May not be the exact message). Till now it is good but the twist is that I saw the student's name which is exactly one of my friend's. The name on the screen was "LOKESH". I couldnt control my laugh when I saw lokesh's name on screen. So is he Pappu??. What you say Lokesh??

Apart from jokes, one of the most innovative ads I have ever seen is the ad by Volkswagen.
The concept is "test drive on a print ad". I was thrilled looking at this ad. Though few may not like it. Since I love technology/innovation, so is this ad.

The concept was awesome. Here the cost incurred on providing the test drive is saved. That must be a huge amount.

An hour ago, I have seen goldspot ad and this ad showed how the trend was then.

In my last posts there were comments on who created the ad and ofcourse the commentator herself has posted the answer and thanks to her.

updates part 3

Here is an incident that happened, when we attended for a project review.

The project was about VIP industries. We just prepared roughly. We went and sat before mam. Mam was busy with some other work and the fellow research students started asking us the questions. What was the project about and what information did we collect. We initially started by showing a pen drive and told him that everything was there. He asked us to explain the things with out using the pen drive. We told him what we collected and he stopped us in middle and directly asked us the recommendations. We again started explaining him our recommendations.
All of sudden he started questioning us this way "I have visited their plant in Nasik and it was very small. Do you think the strategy you are recommending works out?".
We were shocked and our group mate who was explaining till then became silent. We dont know what to say. Then somehow we were rescued as the company produces 13k units per day (explained by us). This time he remained silent. It was like a war.
Back to mam. She somehow collected the data in between, that we couldnot collect till then, and started asking us the questions on that part. We were totally unprepared for such a question. Actually in our group only 3 of us were prepared and rest 2 dint. When mam/fellow researcher was asking the questions, the unprepared guy was answering few questions (ofcourse not exactly the relevant answers). I couldnt control laughing there. Sometimes we need to prepare for the shocks that come from our own team mates.

In another guest lecture, we had a guest faculty talking about "hacking". I just love this subject. Hacking is something that tells the expertise of someone in the technology field. Prof was explaining us on how hacking happens and how we should take care of all these. Actually the night before the guest lecture, I dint sleep. I was feeling damn sleepy till when the class started and all of sudden I started listening to class with full interest.
The class was about wifi hacking and it is the most used network by us in our campus. Actually, the prof has given few website references which can help us hacking. From that day, I was afraid to use WIFI in public places. One thing that I dont understand is - "Is it that easy to hack ?"

Here is a blog worth reading and I totally disagree :) (It is one of my friend's)

Enjoy

updates part 2

In my last post I have mentioned the word "over heard". Those two words have a very significance in our college. It was started by one of the guys as "Over heard in Mess", shortly OHIM. He initiated this word by stating few things that he heard in the mess with out mentioning their names. It was a big success in the campus and later it is being adopted by so many people in the campus.
For example - this is a post copied from one of my friend's profile in fb
OHIM: A: "The enthu level of the juniors in the coms' selection process seems to be low. They are not working as hard as we did last year"
B: "Oh is it the case!! ... heard that some of the seniors are misguiding them with wrong facts/figures ... that might be a reason"
A: "huhhhh .... who are these people?"
B: " you know who"

This is a very good strategy adopted by few people. But slowly this model is diluted as many people have adopted this OHIM funda and even posted funny sms on fb under OHIM name. People obviously lost the interest and these days I rarely see OHIM messages on fb. Though there could be other reasons.

Coming back to classes, the count of guest lecturers was increasing week by week and hopefully we might not have these many in the coming weeks. In one of the guest lecture, the guest faculty was teaching some concept in excel sheet and that was related to some macros ( a bit advanced for normal excel users). He assumed that we had enough knowledge on excel. When one of the students asked on how to edit the data in a single cell using a shortcut key, the prof was shocked and told it was a very basic level question. Then he started telling us "After hearing such a doubt, I feel that it is too advanced for you guys." I dont know what impression we left there but I understand its not a good one. At sometimes, we may need to contend ourselves in asking few doubts (especially in technical subjects).

Classroom Updates 1

I always wanted to write about one of the profs who handles business sustainability class and I always forgot. :((

Most of the time we hear from profs " We should do this way so that we can gain xyz / We should follow those principles and be the role model". There is no surprise in that and we have been hearing all that "gyan" right from our childhood. But there is a difference between teaching the good practices and practically implementing them. The prof that I am talking about falls under the second category. He handles a subject which is very much related to "green" environment. In that subject, he always stresses on reduction of carbon emissions. When I heard that prof is actually contributing something good for the environment in our campus, I was shocked and surprised. Prof roams in the campus on bicycle :)). Yes, you saw a statement that may not be convincing and its true. Its just amazing right ??. More over, I have observed one more thing about the prof. Normally, most of the profs ask us to submit our write-ups on paper and he is the prof who insists paperless submissions :) (i.e mail him directly the write-up). Truly, he is saving so many papers and there by trees. Kudos to Prof. I love to see others follow the same.

One of the profs was explaining on how a company can fail if they dont take the right sample for market research. She has quoted that "bandra" and "ghatkopar" are two different segments. When mam was explaining about these places, I had a glimpse of my stay at Mumbai. Bandra is such a beautiful place ;)). A perfect place for bachelors.

Regarding quizzes and exams, I understood one thing. The role that "block diagrams" play is huge. I have been observing this trend, if there is any block diagram, in relation with the case, in the answer sheet, we will get atleast average marks. Also, I have seen that most of the toppers papers' have one thing in common - block diagrams.
One day when I was checking my answer sheets, I have over heard two people speaking -
person1 - "Whats this I got very less marks ? I have written really well"
Person2 - "You dint draw block diagrams. What ever is the question first draw a block diagram and then answer the question" (a little exaggeration by person2 yet it was mostly a correct stmt)
Person1 - "Is it? I will do that from next exam on wards".
By the way, person1 and person2 have good CG and definitely stand in the top 10 of our class.

It has no end !!!

I never stop myself designing something new on photoshop. This term is a perfect one to showcase my skills, especially in two subjects. One course is about strategy to be followed for advts and the other course is on VB.

We are suppose to create a print ad for a product. Our team has chosen SBI. The product is also a bit different one. Here is the ad...

If you guys can understand what the theme is about, I will be so happy :).

The later part is about developing a video for this same print ad. I am thinking about what type of concept should be adopted for the same. Any suggestions ??

In one of my previous posts, the "never ending" satires by Arina continues this way

Ok i can understand everyone replied to your wish on the blog, but Sreelu didn't reply ?? I wonder why ..!! I wonder even more since you gave her or else copy/paste a necklace on your blog..!! how nice and sweet..!!

I have the answer. Srilu felt a bit shy to reply here otherwise you know about her right ? She "gives back everything" with a very high interest rate.
By the way, it was not copy paste. It was search/copy/paste. Just a copy/paste doesnt work. We need to start with a search process. You forgot that one, which is the most important of all. Also, It is the most difficult job on internet. We have millions of page and to pick one among them is not an easy task. I hop you understand the "pain" involved in such a process.

Awesome Ads....

Today we had two guest lectures. One on advertising and the other on a live case.

The class on advertising was amazing. I really liked the way he handled the class, though it was for a duration of just one hour. The class was about 360 degrees advertising.

The ads he showed us in the class were involving.

Especially the ad on Safari Dicor was damn good. I was looking at the ad and till the end of first minute I was thinking what could be this ad about and when I saw "reclaim you life", it grabbed my attention even more. Finally when the vehicle was displayed on screen, I just loved the ad at that moment. The background music was awesome. One of the dialogues " I just want to swim with whales" just talks about the features of the product that the vehicle is very strong and this is all done in a very subtle way. That was the best part. This ad has an emotional appeal. An emotional appeal for a very high involvement product is rare. Normally commercials for a high involvement product talks about features of the product directly rather than on the emotional part. But this is entirely on the other end. I think I am talking too much about the concepts that I have learnt in the class. :(( .
Here is the link to that ad - enjoy

Few comments about this ad on youtube:

Marvelous! Beautiful! Mind blowing!

I envy everyone who has a Safari, but I'm happy for them as well for making the right decision.

exceptional commercial i love dis watching again and again...awsum ad and car too!!

Apart from this, there was an another interesting discussion raised by mam in the class. It was about the recent controversy going on between two players in our Indian cricket team. The ads were about two brands in whisky segment. "I dont know how controversial they are. But I can say that this controversy definitely increased their brand recall and obviously their sales too." Thats an interesting fact right?? Here is the ad

Some Random Updates!!!

I thought second year would be a "piece of cake". Now I can realize how foolish I am to think that way.

I have already mentioned somewhere in my previous posts that we have 7 subjects this term and all 7 have projects to be submitted. With in a span of 3 months, what really can I do?? For the past three days I have been to bed only after saying hii to Mr.Sun. Ofcourse, he too says "hii" with a "warm" touch. I slept at 6 in the evening thinking that I could get up at 8 and continue with routine tasks. I got up just 3.5 hours after the expected time :)). And so, finally I got some time to scribble something here.

Last week we had a strategy game conducted by one our committees in association with an outside party (cannot mention their names). It was a good one. We will be given money(not real.. on computer) to create new products, maintain inventory levels, select the marketing attributes and lot more. More than that we need to make investments in some technology too. All these happened in 4 rounds and in less than 4 hours. But it was a very good experience. Especially setting up the market price for our products. In the initial rounds our team was doing well. In Round 3, thinking that it could be the last round, I did some manipulation with prices. And that really paid us. Till then our graphs were so positive and all of sudden it started dipping. I then understood we should be to ourselves and do not change our strategy with the number of rounds (in real life, we dont know how many rounds exist). By the way, an another interesting thing is that, the looks of one of the organizers is similar to that of "funny guy - Zach" in hangover. Here the word funny is in reference to the guy in hang over and not the other way.
Just have a look at him - here is the link

BTW, our team(synapse) has recruited a set of juniors. The enthusiasm levels are good just the way we had in the initial days. But I am eager to see how these levels will be are after two months.

It seems our team(Team Blitzkrieg) got a gift for our contribution to "Red River" project. I am eager to see what it could be. I am wondering if it is a "lady thing", to whom can I gift it?. Suggestions are accepted :)).

The start of "testing" time...

Life is just going like that. Get up attend the classes come back to room get ready and go to computer center and start preparing / reading for the next day class and come back to room and sleep. I am not finding any leisure time to write the blog. Though I deliberately avoided writing the blog at some instances.

Last week I had exams. It could be the most difficult phase of my life at L. I had 3 exams on a single day. I was damn tired by the end of the day, especially when I was writing the third one. I could not think/remember the concepts and just scribbled something on the answer-sheet. Today I received the paper for the same subject and my marks was not at all good. I was hurt looking at the marks but cant help it. I definitely think this is kind of "test" in my life on how I can prioritize the things. I wish my best friend was with me who always says "you never prioritize the things properly". I could have asked her to prepare the list.

After the end of exams, I had two days break, a kind of breather. We went to city and saw this movie Zindagi na milega dobara. The movie is good but not great. Its just a feel good movie.
But these days I have realized why these movies are attracting the crowd. One of the reasons for sure - people living in modern world are definitely out of these human relations (minimized) and feel so happy (especially at the heart) seeing these kind of touchy scenes (friends relationship, mom and dad relationship, dad and son relationship) on screen. One more example of this type is a recent release in telugu film industry mr.perfect. Its also a movie which depicts about human relations. I too liked that movie.

Ofcourse one more point to remember is that too much of sentiment does not work out because people cannot associate themselves with such a situation :). Just these are my thoughts and thats it. May be some other will definitely have some other views and I dont want to contradict :).

In the coming 5 weeks we need to finish 7 projects. Thats just a cakewalk. :((((

I swear I am innocent

There was a comment on the 2nd previous post - When I kissed her for the first time.

Arina said "And i was gonna ask who she is..!! But hell of an imagination..!! a girl waiting for 3 hours and not getting that angry ha ha ha "

Idiot.. Dint you read the whole post ???

I mentioned that it was a story created just to escape the situation. Why did I write this post at this moment ?? I saw the interaction sessions that were going on when juniors have come here. Those moments just flashed in my mind where in I was there at the other end. I wanted to write this post few days back but I was very busy and so couldn't.

By the way, our exams start from friday onwards and I have three exams on a single day. It would be a horrible situation for sure. I just cant imagine how am I gonna sit for such a long time and write the exams continuously. Moreover, each subject has lots of topics to be covered. Though one exam is open book, I dont think we will get enough time to open book and answer the questions.

Thats it... busy busy...

Happy Birthday Raghu..

He tried not to reveal his birthday. Thanks to Sai for finding out the hidden fact.

There enters the new batch....

Now I am Senior.. Be careful...

Finally the whole batch of juniors is here. Though few additions and subtractions may happen (may be very less in number). Seniors are also getting ready (to guide the juniors :)) ). I am no way nearer to that guiding part and so I dont want to write more about that.

I am so afraid of juniors because of an incident that happened during my UG. I was with juniors till mid night (dont ask me what I was doing) and the last junior who left the hostel was caught by warden and then guess what happened ? I couldnt sleep properly for the next three days and then it was normal. But one thing was sure, the warden did not forget me and the incident. Almost two years after the incident, One day, I came late to the hostel after missing the bus and he was standing before the hostel questioning each and everyone who came late. After seeing me, the first thing he told was "You are the one whom I questioned two years ago in relation to the incident XYZ right?". I was shocked and dont know what to answer. The supervisor by the side of him told that I was not that person. Again I dint sleep properly for the next three days and then it was normal.

Today I have slept almost 12 hours and still I am feeling sleepy. Sunday should be replaced by Sleepingday in the calendar. The most happiest incident that happened today is going to dastarkhwan restaurant. Biryani was awesome (cannot come nearer to the great hyderabadi biryani). Though the restaurant is small yet so many people go to that place just because of taste. Here is the link about the restaurant -
