The project was about VIP industries. We just prepared roughly. We went and sat before mam. Mam was busy with some other work and the fellow research students started asking us the questions. What was the project about and what information did we collect. We initially started by showing a pen drive and told him that everything was there. He asked us to explain the things with out using the pen drive. We told him what we collected and he stopped us in middle and directly asked us the recommendations. We again started explaining him our recommendations.
All of sudden he started questioning us this way "I have visited their plant in Nasik and it was very small. Do you think the strategy you are recommending works out?".
We were shocked and our group mate who was explaining till then became silent. We dont know what to say. Then somehow we were rescued as the company produces 13k units per day (explained by us). This time he remained silent. It was like a war.
Back to mam. She somehow collected the data in between, that we couldnot collect till then, and started asking us the questions on that part. We were totally unprepared for such a question. Actually in our group only 3 of us were prepared and rest 2 dint. When mam/fellow researcher was asking the questions, the unprepared guy was answering few questions (ofcourse not exactly the relevant answers). I couldnt control laughing there. Sometimes we need to prepare for the shocks that come from our own team mates.
In another guest lecture, we had a guest faculty talking about "hacking". I just love this subject. Hacking is something that tells the expertise of someone in the technology field. Prof was explaining us on how hacking happens and how we should take care of all these. Actually the night before the guest lecture, I dint sleep. I was feeling damn sleepy till when the class started and all of sudden I started listening to class with full interest.
The class was about wifi hacking and it is the most used network by us in our campus. Actually, the prof has given few website references which can help us hacking. From that day, I was afraid to use WIFI in public places. One thing that I dont understand is - "Is it that easy to hack ?"
Here is a blog worth reading and I totally disagree :) (It is one of my friend's)
Enjoy
